Jiaqiang Ou is a documentary photographer from Guangdong, China, and is currently pursuing a Master of Photography at RMIT University in Melbourne.
His photographic practice explores the subtle relationship between humanity and nature within the context of contemporary society. Through the use of different materials — including film, digital processes, and experimental printing — he seeks to reveal the traces of time, memory, and emotion embedded in overlooked spaces.
By combining observation and reflection, Jiaqiang’s work transforms ordinary environments into visual meditations on coexistence, silence, and change, encouraging viewers to slow down and rediscover the world around them.
