The Unseen

"The Unseen" is a photographic exploration of Futaba machi, Japan, a town evacuated in 2011 following the nuclear disaster. As radiation leaked into the environment, the government ordered an urgent evacuation, and since then, much of the Futaba machi area has been in a state of exclusion, because the radiation level has been too high for residents to return. The town has remained untouched by human presence until now.
